With golden wheat fields stretching to the horizon and the Nottinghamshire countryside on the doorstep, this is rural England at its finest. Just 35 minutes from Nottingham city centre — far enough to truly unwind.

Wood-fired

A hot tub, lit by you, at any hour

Private, wood-fired, and available 24 hours a day all year round. Screened by a woven willow fence with nothing but fields beyond it — as good at seven in the morning in the mist as it is under the festoon lights at midnight.

An additional charge applies.

  • The wood-fired hot tub on the flagstone patio beside the barn, clad in dark timber with a stainless steel rim and wooden steps. A woven willow screen shelters it, and rolling countryside and a field of yellow rape stretch away behind.
  • The hot tub at sunset, the low sun flaring through bare trees behind the willow screen and catching the stainless steel flue of the wood burner that heats it.
  • The hot tub bubbling after dark, steam drifting off the lit water, with warm festoon bulbs strung along the willow screen against a deep blue evening sky.

Newbound Farm is one of the few holiday properties in the East Midlands where you can bring your horse along for the adventure. Paddock turnout for up to three horses comes with your stay, and there are miles of off-road hacking from the farm gate.

Yes — up to 2 dogs are welcome at Orchard Barn, alongside assistance animals. There is a secure private garden and direct access to miles of off-road trails from the property.

Can I bring my horse to Newbound Farm?

Yes - up to 3 horses, as part of your stay at Orchard Barn. Paddock turnout comes with the barn rather than being let separately, so the horses stay with you. There is direct access to the Teversal Trail and the wider off-road trail network from the farm.

Is there a hot tub at Orchard Barn?
